Belt Requirements
The following details the minimum requirements for being asked to test for a given belt. Months of study are counted from when the previous belt was earned, and assume 2 to 3 classes a week; students taking only one class a week will take longer to reach a belt level.
Students are asked to test once Mr. Boun feels they’re ready. They must show good technique for their current belt level, know the required forms, have met the minimum time of study, and have a good attitude in class. Parents are asked to sign off on a testing invitation, confirming their student is doing well in school and has a good attitude at home.
